[Johannesburg, 09 November 2022]: To further boost its support footprint, Goscor Group of Companies (Goscor) has opened a new branch in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
Co-location of Goscor Group Companies
Following hard on the heels of the recent commissioning of the Durban branch, Goscor has opened a new branch in Richards Bay. As with several other Goscor branches nationally, the new Richards Bay branch is a co-location of several Goscor Group companies, including Goscor Lift Truck Company, Goscor Access Solutions, Goscor Earthmoving Equipment, Goscor Cleaning Equipment and Goscor Compressed Air Systems.
The co-location model, explains Goscor Lift Truck Company’s KZN Director Michael Keats, allows Goscor Group companies to operate under one roof, enabling them to exploit synergies that ultimately allow for a better customer experience.
Servicing the Zululand area, the 2 200 m² branch is strategically located, with good visibility from the main road. “The location affords quick and easy access for our our clients in the Zululand area. It is also a modern and comfortable facility to host our clients. The new facility also complies with the highest of safety standards, while it affords us ample space to offer training to our employees and customers,” explains Keats.
Commenting on the reason behind the establishment of the new branch, Keats says the decision was influenced by continued business growth over the past few years and the subsequent need for a larger and modern facility to better service the growing customer base.
“When establishing this branch, one of the key considerations was the need for a suitable facility that could house the various sister companies in the BUD Group. I am glad to say this facility ticked all the right boxes for us, both in terms of location and ambience,” says Keats.
“We are very excited as a group and a team to offer the best possible services to our new and existing clients in the Zululand area. We are looking forward to long-term partnerships with our clients in the region and, with our broad range of products and solutions, we believe we have the capacity to address any industrial and earthmoving equipment needs and more,” concludes Keats.
