GLTC Appoints a New General Manager for Johannesburg Branch

Goscor Lift Truck Company (GLTC) has announced the appointment of Ronald Ryan as General Manager – JHB Branch, effective 1 February 2022.

“It gives me great pleasure to announce the appointment of our current Johannesburg Sales Manager, Ronald Ryan, to a new role as General Manager of our Johannesburg branch,” says Cecil Oates, MD of GLTC.

In his new role, Ronald will be largely responsible for the general management of the branch, as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of the distribution, customer service, human resources, administration, short-term rental and sales departments for the region.

With over 25 years’ experience in the forklift industry, of which 20 have been with GLTC, Ronald brings a wealth of experience to the management of the branch. Over the years, he has exhibited outstanding leadership qualities, and testimony to his abilities is the great success with which he has led a number of the company’s key projects. That, coupled with his charismatic personality and hands-on approach, makes him the best fit for the General Manager – JHB Branch position.
