Job Role
The successful candidate will ensure that Goscor Lift Truck Company (Pty) Ltd – Gauteng Region has a healthy cash flow, through the collection of customer accounts in a manner that ensures high customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Procedure & Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of debtor accounts to ensure timeous payment of outstanding invoices.
  • Resolving problems in relation to invoice payments and reconciling complex month end accounts.
  • Reporting to management on outstanding issues, whilst highlighting potential debtor problems.
  • Ensure credit and collection policies are adhered to.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Liaise internally to resolve customer queries.
  • Liaise with Group Credit Manager regarding issue of Letters of Demand and hand over matters.

Qualifications and Competencies Required:

  • Matric
  • Formal, job relevant, tertiary qualification will be required.
    • Minimum requirement: Certificate in Credit Management (Level 3-5)
    • and/or relevant Diploma.
  • In-depth knowledge and minimum 10 years+ experience of Credit Management.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation i.e., NCA, Business Rescues, Liquidations etc.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy in execution.
  • Good business acumen for problem solving.
  • Competency with large ERP systems. Autoline / Kerridge would be an advantage.
  • Confidence to deal with range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise a demanding workload.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience in the Rental, Parts Sales, Maintenance and Services Industry (equipment) will be an advantage.
  • Ability to cope under pressure and troubleshoot where necessary
