Crown Sings Goscor’s Praises

After his recent visit to Goscor Lift Truck Company (GLTC), Crown regional manager for the Middle East, Africa and India, Andrew Otter, says that GLTC is one of Crown’s ‘flagship’ distributors for the region. “This is a highly professional organisation. It offers our customers a full range of services including outright sales, rental and an after sales service equal to anything in the world,” says Otter.

He adds that GLTC prove time and again that today’s discerning customers do not chase price alone but are much more interested in the life-cycle costs of the equipment.

“In Crown, Goscor has a world-leading product and this, in conjunction with their thoroughly professional service, enables them to provide an experience for the customer that goes well beyond the selling-price issue,” says Otter. “Reliability and performance from both the people and the machines are so valuable from a life-cycle perspective in today’s demanding warehouse environments, anyone who has these qualities, as Goscor does, will be successful,” he says.

Otter adds that Goscor has consistently done justice to the Crown brand and that its service package is as good as any Crown distributor worldwide.

GLTC MD Darryl Shafto says he is grateful for this recognition of his company’s efforts. “We try hard to service our customers professionally and given Crown’s exceptional record globally, Otter’s words are praise indeed,” says Shafto.

Turning to the current global financial challenges and how they will affect the future Otter is optimistic. “In the past 18 months we have launched more new products than in any other 18-month period in our history. Our order books are still generally fairly good and I have no doubt that global recovery will be much quicker than expected boosting our orders even further,” says Otter.
